Because of generous sponsorship from 4 Flight Industries,
the 4 Flight S2 Cup is able to help offset some of the costs of towing to
races through the 4 Flight S2 Cup Tow Fund.
The goal of the tow fund is to increase the car count by encouraging
drivers to attend races farther from home.
The fund pays $200 to any competitor who tows their racecar more than 200
miles (from the location where the vehicle is normally stored) to the race
track. It pays $300 if the tow is greater than 300 miles. If multiple
cars for multiple drivers (i.e. not for spares) are brought in a single
trailer, each additional car pays half of the original amount.
If a single competitor brings more than one
trailer or more than one car in a single trailer he/she is still only
paid once.
4 Flight will pay up to two funds in the driver's own division. For example, if the driver is a member of the Southern
Pacific Division he/she can get paid to go to two races in that division but not all of them if he/she live more
than 200 miles away from others as well. The purpose of the tow fund is to make drivers tow out of their Region.
The appearance money pays drivers to show up at their home races.
See the chart below for example payouts.
| Miles Towed | Drivers | Cars | Trailers | Payout |
| 260 | 1 | 1 | 1 | $200 |
| 260 | 1 | 2 | 1 | $200 |
| 260 | 1 | 2 | 2 | $200 |
| 260 | 2 | 2 | 1 | $300 |
| 460 | 2 | 2 | 1 | $450 |
| 1260 | 2 | 4 | 1 | $450 |
| 420 | 3 | 2 | 1 | $450 |
| 420 | 3 | 3 | 1 | $600 |
Explanation:
if two drivers share a trailer and tow two cars 250 miles, they receive $300
($200 for the first car, plus $100 for the second). Three drivers towing
three cars more than 300 miles in a single trailer would receive $600 ($300
+ $150 + $150).
To request payment from the Tow Fund just print out the online form,
